Zij volgt oprichter Luc Leenknegt op, die voorzitter van de raad van bestuur wordt. PerPetum helpt energie-intensieve industriële en commerciële klanten om hun CO₂-uitstoot en energiekosten te verlagen en netvergoedingen te vermijden, door hernieuwbare opwekking, opslag en actief energiebeheer te combineren met flexibele financiering off-balance. PerPetum levert dit als een volledig beheerde dienst, van ontwerp tot langdurige exploitatie, met onmiddellijke economische en ecologische voordelen. ## Een bestuurder uit de Energy-as-a-Service-sector Nina Waffenschmidt brengt ruime ervaring in de energiesector mee naar PerPetum. Zij komt over van LichtBlick, de grootste Duitse aanbieder van 100% groene stroom, waar zij sinds 2023 Chief Executive Officer was van LichtBlick Energy as a Service GmbH, nadat zij in 2021 als Director Operations bij LichtBlick SE was begonnen. PerPetum exploiteert en bouwt momenteel bijna 300 MWp aan eigen activa in België en ontwikkelt projecten in Frankrijk, Nederland en Duitsland. Het bedrijf installeerde sinds zijn oprichting meer dan 700 MWp aan pv-capaciteit. De portefeuille van PerPetum omvat enkele van de grootste achter-de-meter-projecten van Europa. Na PerPetum in 2007 te hebben opgericht en het bedrijf gedurende bijna twee decennia van groei te hebben geleid, stapt Luc Leenknegt over naar de functie van voorzitter van de raad van bestuur.
