De voormalige grindputten in Perthes herbergen nu 135.000 zonnepanelen die drijven over 127 hectare water, genoeg elektriciteit opwekken om 18.000 huishoudens van stroom te voorzien en tegelijkertijd het aquatische ecosysteem actief verbeteren door verdamping te verminderen en algengroei te beperken. ### De Uitdaging Voormalige grindwinningsbekkens transformeren in de grootste drijvende zonnecentrale van Europa, met zes jaar complexe milieuvergunningen, regelgeving voor waterlichamen en innovatieve ankeringtechniek over 127 hectare open water. ### Onze Oplossing PerPetum leverde een drijvende fotovoltaïsche installatie van 74 MWp met 135.000 modules, aangevuld met een grondgebonden opstelling van 2 MW. Gespecialiseerde anker- en meersystemen werden ontworpen voor diepe waterlichamen, terwijl het drijvende ontwerp actief waterevaporatie en algengroei vermindert, wat milieuvoordelen oplevert naast schone energie. - Drijvende fotovoltaïsche installatie van 74 MWp - 135.000 zonnepanelen over 127 hectare - Aanvullende grondgebonden opstelling van 2 MW - Gespecialiseerde diepwater anker- en meersystemen - Verminderde waterevaporatie en algengroei - Circulair landgebruik: van winningsbekken tot energieactief Gebouwd en geëxploiteerd door PerPetum, van winningsbekken tot Europees referentiepunt voor hernieuwbare energie. ### Projecthoogtepunten 74 MWp Totaal geïnstalleerd vermogen 85 GWh Jaarlijkse schone energieproductie 135.000 Zonnepanelen geïnstalleerd 127 ha Wateroppervlak bedekt 18.000 Huishoudens van stroom voorzien 18.000 t CO₂ vermeden per jaar ### Resultaten en impact Les Îlots Blandin wekt jaarlijks ongeveer 85.000 MWh schone elektriciteit op, genoeg om 18.000 Franse huishoudens van stroom te voorzien, en vermijdt jaarlijks 18.000 ton CO₂. Het drijvende ontwerp levert milieuvoordelen op: verminderde waterevaporatie beschermt lokale grondwaterniveaus, terwijl beperkte zonlichtpenetratie algenproliferatie beperkt. Het project toont aan dat circulair landgebruik, het herbestemmen van winningssites voor schone energie, impact op grote schaal kan leveren zonder een enkele hectare productief land te verbruiken.
