The Helios solar park — Wallonia's largest at 60 MW — has been officially inaugurated at the INEOS Inovyn site in Jemeppe-sur-Sambre, in the presence of Sophie Wilmès, Vice-President of the European Parliament.
A landmark for Belgian solar
Spanning over 60 hectares, Helios represents a milestone in Belgium's renewable energy capacity. The park generates enough clean electricity to power approximately 20,000 households annually while directly supporting the industrial decarbonisation of the INEOS Inovyn chemical complex.
